Enjoy a Better Web Experience |
|
|
Everyone likes to watch videos on the internet, whether
they be your music videos from your favorite rock
groups, clips from the top rated shows, spoofs of the
world’s politicians or just good old fashioned stand up
comedy. However, the quality of the video affects ones
enjoyment of it, and the most influential factor, as
anyone will tell you is your internet browser. When you
get tired of slow buffering videos that run in fits and
starts, and fifteen minute clips that take twice as long
to load, you will realize that its time to change your
browser.

The
most frequently used Web browser, after
Internet Explorer will soon
be the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. This is
because the new version of Firefox – the Firefox 3 Beta
3 – comes equipped with incredible video friendly
programs that make video viewing much better than any
other browser. You can download it for free by
downloading the Google toolbar
. Even
though it does not have anything extra-ordinary or
revolutionary, Firefox 3 Beta 3 has come up with a
series of new aspects, especially to improve on the
quality of video viewing. You can notice, if you look
carefully, some esthetic adjustments as well. These are
only a few other reasons for using Firefox as well, in
addition to getting better videos.
The smooth viewing, fast downloading and
easy to manage facilities of Mozilla Firefox allows it
to become anyone’s favorite Web browser. It also allows

One of
the best ways to get the best out of your
Firefox
browser is by downloading extensions. Here are some tips
on valuable extensions for Firefox that work both with
Windows and Mac versions. Adding new functions and
personalizing Firefox is easy, via extensions.
Extensions are usually created by other users and you
can find and add them easily. In order to see the
extensions list in your browser, you can select
Extensions in Tools menu or hit the key combination
Ctrl+Shift+E. Then you can click on Install in order to
add extensions that you downloaded locally.
An excellent extension called ‘Video
Downloader’, allows the downloading and the storage of
the video content from more than 60 video streaming
sites! After installing Video Downloader, you will see a
new icon in the right hand side corner of the browser
interface; all you have to do is click on it to save a
video!
The pop-up window, which opens, will
guide you to right click download, then to change the
suffix in FLV.
Once you have saved the file, you will
need to find a viewing method. Mac users are lucky,
because there is a very good video conversion program
called iSquint, which is Firefox friendly and can be
used free.
In order to use iSquint, open it and drag
the downloaded file in the work area. You can choose the
final quality of the video, the format (MPEG-4 or codec
H.264 codec), and you can optimize
